In order to better manage my time, I am planning to trim my friends list here at LJ. I have been posting at IJ for about a year and prefer that environment, and it's a pain to keep shifting back and forth, or reading the same posts twice due to people syncing their various journals. Cuts will go into effect on July 8th, 2008.
If you DO NOT see your name above and would like me to continue reading your entries, just comment and I'll be happy to keep you on my flist. Or, if you do see your name above and want off my flist, comment. Some of you are being cut because you never post anyway. :-P
No personal judgment of any kind is intended by this cut. This cutting does not affect any communities I am involved in at LJ. If this post raises any other questions, ask 'em. Comments are screened.
I believe there are more costume fans on my flist here than at IJ, so here's a link for you all. The photos from Costume Con 26 are up in this gallery.
Make sure you look in the Friday Night Social category; there is a fantastic Tom Baker Dr. Who there.
New River Rafting in West Virginia - Surprise Rapid
[Apr. 16th, 2008|07:32 am]
Found this vid of people on a similar rafting trip as the one Bill and I took a few years ago. Watch the last boat hit the Class III. That was where all the dopes in our raft fell out except for me, Bill, my uncle, and the river guide. :D
You have to check out this amazing political ad done by *grassroots* supporters, not some mediawhore advertising agency. Even if you aren't interested in the candidate (Ron Paul) please enjoy the gorgeous computer graphics. The entire thing is in 3D renders (as in beautiful game platform cinematics).
This is a charity project I'm soliciting donations for. "The Innocence Project" works to free people who have been wrongly imprisoned for crimes they did not commit. If you click on the link above, you will learn more. I will write a special fic for anyone who throws in a donation of $5 or more. Please click and check it out!
The cable monkey can't come to my house until Thursday, so I remain in stealth mode. Right now I'm at Schlotzky's eating lunch and accessing their free WiFi with my Palm Zire. It really comes in handy for emergencies, although the visual interface isn't the greatest for web surfing.
